Seoul
- Seoul and the Airport
Where you sleep in Seoul changes the airport run by 15km. Hongdae is 43.1km from Incheon and Jamsil 58.3km — and the railway, not the distance, is what actually decides it.
- Where to Stay Around Sinnonhyeon
For trips spent south of the river, not around the palaces. All hotels sit by Sinnonhyeon Station; what differs is free-child ages and which rooms take a third guest.
- Myeongdong vs Hongdae
Choose Myeongdong for central sightseeing and Hongdae for airport access and late nights. Six hotels compared on stations, rooms, children and pools.
- Where to Stay in Hongdae
Hongdae suits trips where arrival and departure must be quick: closest to both airports, on the airport train with no transfer. The catch is a daily ride to the palaces.
- Luxury Hotels in Seoul
Four Seoul luxury stays compared on pools, spas, lounges, room conditions, views and location. No permanent price ranking or unsupported best-deal claims.
- Where to Stay in Jamsil
Jamsil works when the trip stays in Jamsil, around Lotte World and its mall. Three hotels compared on child rates and occupancy; the catch is Seoul's longest airport run.
- Jongno Hotels
Three Jongno hotels compared. Each sits 280–370m from a subway station, so the station decides nothing — what you meet outside does. Check-out times differ by an hour.
- Where to Stay in Myeongdong
In Myeongdong the shopping street is 240-440m from every stay here, so walking distance does not decide it. Child pricing, the station you use and checkout time do.
- Where to Stay Near Seoul Station
Three hotels by Seoul Station compared on what a travel day needs: the numbered exit each one uses, the walk with a suitcase, and the AREX express against the all-stop train.
- Seoul Hotels for Couples
Seven Seoul hotels for two travellers, compared using verified location, lounge, bar, pool and room facts without unsupported romantic or honeymoon claims.
- Seoul Hotels for Families
Eight Seoul hotels with verified family-room inventory, compared on bed layouts, child policies, pools, station access and the trade-offs families feel.
- Seoul Hotels with Breakfast
Six Seoul hotels with verified breakfast availability, compared on buffet versus plated service, location and the rate conditions you still need to check.
Busan
- Gijang and Osiria
Three Gijang and Osiria properties compared. Haeundae Beach appears in none of their nearby listings and none has a street to walk out to — so what is on site decides.
- Gwangalli Beach Hotels
Four hotels on Gwangalli Beach, all within 100m of the sand. Every one also sells rooms with no view at all, under four labels — read the full room name before booking.
- Haeundae Hotels
Six Haeundae hotels compared. The beach runs from 50m to 1.1km — a 22-fold spread — and the order for the subway station is almost exactly reversed.
- Nampo Hotels
Five hotels listed under Nampo in Busan, compared. Distance to Jagalchi Market runs from 150m to 1,440m and location ratings from 9.4 to 7.9. Check-in times vary by three hours.
- Seomyeon Hotels
Busan's Seomyeon hotels compared. No coast here, but Gimhae Airport and Busan Station are both close, the walk to the interchange runs 410m to 640m, and child rules differ.
Jeju
- Where to Stay in Aewol
Three hotels on one Aewol coast road, 9.7–12.8km from the airport, so location barely separates them. Scores run 7.7 to 8.9; building age, views and rooms differ.
- Jeju Without a Car
Renting on Jeju needs an International Driving Permit arranged before you fly. Without one, only two of the island's seven stay areas hold up — and the bus terminal decides which.
- Jeju City Hotels
Seven Jeju City hotels compared. All sit 2–3km from the airport and the bus terminal, so what decides is the shuttle, the check-out hour and which side of town you walk into.
- Jungmun Resorts
The resort hotels in Jungmun, Jeju compared. Distance to the beach runs from 350m to 1.3km, the pools look at very different things, and free-child ages differ at every property.
- Seogwipo City Hotels
Six central Seogwipo hotels compared. The waterfall runs 470m to 1.4km and settles nothing — what separates them is that all six handle parking differently.
- Seongsan Hotels
Three Seongsan hotels compared. One sits 760m from Sunrise Peak and two sit 2.4km away, with nothing between. With a car that is five minutes; without one it decides the trip.
- Jeju Shinhwa World
Jeju Shinhwa World's four properties share one address, so distance decides nothing. Pick by what each offers: waterpark, three-bedroom units, connecting rooms, service.
Da Nang
- Central Da Nang
Four central Da Nang hotels compared. All sit 510m to 1.1km from Han Market, so distance decides nothing — what you meet outside does: cathedral, swing bridge or Dragon Bridge.
- Where to Stay on My Khe Beach
Five My Khe Beach hotels sorted by trip: resorts built on the sand, two-bedroom suites for families who need separate rooms, self-catering, and the north end for city evenings.
- Non Nuoc Beach, Da Nang
Choosing between the three Non Nuoc Beach resorts in Da Nang. Han Market is 7.8km at the closest, so evenings mean a car — in exchange the sand starts at the property line.
- Da Nang Family Hotels
Da Nang stays where four or more can share one booking. The split that matters is not the star rating but whether the beds sit in one room or behind separate bedroom doors.
- Da Nang Pool Villas
Two different things show up under Da Nang pool villas — villas sold alongside hotel rooms or residences in the same resort, and rooms where pool is only in the name.
Hoi An
- Cua Dai Beach, Hoi An
Hoi An's Cua Dai resorts sit 90 to 330m from the sand but 4.3 to 5.1km from the night market. Evenings mean a car, so shuttle terms decide more than beach distance does.
- Hoi An Ancient Town Hotels
Choosing a hotel inside Hoi An's walking radius. The night market runs 430m to 1.1km out, and free child stays end at four or five at some addresses and eleven at others.
Nha Trang
- Where to Stay in Cam Ranh
For a resort stay near Nha Trang's airport: four Cam Ranh resorts 10–18 minutes from arrivals, with the city about 40 minutes away. Child policies differ.
- Hon Tre Island Vinpearl Resorts
Three Vinpearl resorts on Hon Tre Island compared. Unit counts run from 84 to 651 — nearly eightfold — and the location scores run the other way.
- Where to Stay in Tan Lap
Four Tan Lap hotels in central Nha Trang, 510–660m from the beach in a straight line and about 40 minutes from the airport. Room layouts and facilities set them apart.
- Nha Trang Pool Villas
Nha Trang and Cam Ranh pool villas read room by room. Inside one resort some villas come with a private pool and others do not, and the airport runs from 10 minutes to a full hour.
Hanoi
- Ba Dinh
For a late arrival or an early flight in Hanoi: Ba Dinh is the quicker side for Noi Bai, while Hoan Kiem Lake is 2.7–4.2km away. Four hotels compared.
- Where to Stay in Hoan Kiem
To stay by Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter night market: six hotels 140–630m from the lake. The catch is the airport — 42–44 minutes to Noi Bai.
Sa Pa
- Muong Hoa Valley
Ville De Mont lists seven of ten categories as valley view. Sapa Clay House lists nine as mountain and no valley view at all. Which rooms face what, and which list a balcony.
- Sa Pa Town
Silk Path splits three 33sqm categories by view alone and Pao's splits four at 30sqm. Sapa Legacy publishes a lake view; Eden Boutique lists no mountain or valley view at all.
Ho Chi Minh City
- Inside District 1
In District 1, where you stay decides your days. Seven hotels: a core close to City Hall, or a west side with larger rooms nearer the Reunification Palace.
- Hotels Near Tan Son Nhat
Two hotels sit much the same distance from Tan Son Nhat. What differs is how you cross: one runs a free shuttle you request ahead, from the other you walk.
Phu Quoc
- Where to Stay in Duong Dong
Duong Dong is the only part of Phu Quoc you can walk out of at night. Three properties sit 230m, 720m and 880m from the night market, and differ on beach, pool and building age.
- Northern Phu Quoc
Five resorts in northern Phu Quoc compared. Distance to the VinWonders aquarium runs from 750m to 2.1km — but the order of distance and the order of convenience do not match.
- Where to Stay on Southern Long Beach
Southern Long Beach is the closest area to Phu Quoc airport and the least walkable. Three resorts compared on airport distance, build year and child occupancy rules.
Rome
- Centro Storico Hotels
Five hotels in Rome's old city, all within 710m of the Pantheon and none with a metro station. Two face the Chamber of Deputies, which is why guests talk about the police.
- Hotels Near the Colosseum
For a Rome trip centred on Ancient Rome and Monti's own bars and restaurants, the Vatican as a day out. Five hotels — two actually nearer Termini than the Colosseum.
- Spanish Steps and Veneto Hotels
“Spanish Steps” covers hotels placed very differently — some near the Pantheon and the old centre, others up towards Via Veneto. Five hotels, and how to tell them apart.
- Hotels Near Roma Termini
Seven hotels beside Rome's station compared. All within 640m of the platforms, all 3.4km or more from St Peter's — and the closer to the train, the further from the old city.
- Trastevere Hotels
We searched 414 Rome properties. Trastevere returned two hotels. Everything else across the river is apartments and B&Bs — so the choice here is genuinely between two.
- Vatican and Prati Hotels
Four Rome hotels on the Vatican side, from 360m to St Peter's. It is the one central district with a metro under it — and the furthest from the airport train.
