Nha Trang Pool Villas — "Villa" Does Not Mean a Pool Comes With It

Inside one resort, the villas are not the same

The Anam lists fourteen room types. Four carry “pool villa” in the name — the three-bedroom and two-bedroom hilltop, the ocean front, and the one-bedroom. The garden view villa and sea view villa are villas without being pool villas.

Alma Resort has several villas but names a private pool in two of them. “King bed one-bedroom villa” and “king bed three-bedroom villa” sit in the same list with no pool mentioned at all.

Amiana Resort runs fifteen room types, of which three are pool villas — the three-bedroom ocean view, the one-bedroom ocean view and the Signature. The “deluxe garden view villa” and “premier deluxe garden view king villa” share only the word.

Vinpearl Nha Trang Bay is the opposite case. Of four room types, exactly one is a villa — the four-bedroom duplex with a private pool. The other three are ordinary rooms. Choosing this resort does not put you in a villa.

One word apart: “pool view villa”

The Anam’s list also contains a “pool view villa.” Not a pool villa — a villa that looks at a pool. One word decides whether the water is yours.

These names are indistinguishable at a glance in a results list. Read the room name to the end, including whatever sits inside the brackets.

Where every room is a villa

Two properties take the decision off your hands.

• Meliá Vinpearl Cam Ranh — all five room types are villas, split across one, two and three bedrooms with lake view, ocean view and beachfront. Some name the private pool outright, others are listed as pool villas
• Fusion Resort Cam Ranh — six of nine types name a private pool, and every room is listed with all spa treatments included. A four-bedroom ocean front villa is among them

Ten minutes to the airport, or a full hour

Picking a pool villa picks a location with it, and the spread inside this one list is large.

The four Cam Ranh properties put you in the pool on arrival day. The cost is that nothing is within walking distance, so dinner outside the resort means a car every evening. Hon Tre means a cable car or a boat each time you leave, and the north coast puts the airport an hour away.

• Read the full room name and the brackets. “Pool villa” and “pool view villa,” “villa” and “villa with private pool” are different products
• Pool size and shape are not in the name. They vary by type inside the same resort, so read the photos and the description together
