Parnas Hotel Jeju
This suits a stay where the day happens inside the hotel, and specifically where the pool is the reason for booking. It opened in 2022 with 307 rooms ranging from 37 to 112 sqm, and scores 9.2 overall with 9.5 for location — the highest of the Jeju properties covered here. The trade-off is 770m to Jungmun Saekdal Beach, which makes the sea a view rather than a walk.

Location & getting around — 770m to the beach, about 50 minutes to the airport
The hotel sits on Jungmungwangwang-ro 72beon-gil, 770m from Jungmun Saekdal Beach, 1.3km from Cheonjeyeon Falls and 2.6km from the Jusangjeolli Cliff. Within the same resort complex that puts it one layer further inland than Lotte Hotel Jeju at 350m. You can walk 770m if you set out to, but not in a swimsuit and back.
Jeju International Airport is roughly 50 minutes by car on the property’s own listing, and Jeju City Bus Terminal is listed at 29.5km. An airport transfer service appears among the property’s highlights, but without a free-of-charge marker — check the fare and timetable when you book. With a rental car, days that stay inside the resort complex and days that circle the island feel very different from here.
The caveat is that 770m. The location score of 9.5 is the highest here, but the reviews praising the location are mostly describing the sea as seen from the pool deck. If getting into the water is the point of the trip, read the distance literally.
Rooms & occupancy — from a 37 sqm Deluxe to a 112 sqm Club Duplex Suite
The hotel opened in 2022 with 307 rooms. Deluxe King and Deluxe Twin are listed at 37 sqm, Deluxe Family Twin and the ocean-view versions at 46 sqm, Junior Suite at 69 sqm and the Club Duplex Suite at 112 sqm. Room size varies by more than three times inside one property, so booking the hotel without reading the room type is how expectations go wrong here.
Views are also written into the names. There are Deluxe King Ocean View, Deluxe Twin Ocean View and Deluxe Family Twin Ocean View types, with an equivalent set carrying Standard View. Several suites include club lounge access for four. Only children 36 months and under stay free; from 37 months to 12 a child is billed at the child rate, 60,500 KRW as an extra guest in Club rooms, so check other room types on the booking screen.
The caveat is the difference between the wings. Reviews note that the Deluxe Family Twin sits in the older east wing and that this was not obvious at booking, alongside the view that the east wing is the better side for sea views. The same reviews describe the interiors as well renovated.

Facilities — the infinity pool and the executive lounge
There is an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, a spa, an executive lounge, restaurants including one with private rooms, a bar and lounge, and a kids zone. The pool is the most frequently cited reason for booking in the reviews — described repeatedly as an infinity pool, large enough not to feel crowded, with the poolside bar in regular use. Breakfast is a buffet; when not bundled into the rate it is listed at 70,000 KRW per adult and 35,000 KRW per child.
The overall score is 9.2 with location at 9.5, across 13,030 reviews. By traveller type, groups give 9.5, business travellers 9.3 and families with young children 9.3. Cleanliness is what guests singled out most, recorded at 9.592.
The caveat is how peak season is run. Reviews describe a two-session pool system from July, awkward but effective at reducing crowding, and difficulty securing a sun lounger. Several also mention the breakfast price. Check-in is from 3pm, check-out at 11am.

Best for
- Trips where the pool is the reason for booking — reviews say so repeatedly
- Travellers who put room condition first; the hotel opened in 2022
- Four in one room with club lounge access included
Not ideal if
- Walking straight out to the sand matters — it is 770m away
- You plan to eat breakfast here daily on a tight budget
- You want unrestricted pool access in peak season
Compared & alternatives — choosing among the three in Jungmun
The three Jungmun properties split on distance to the sand and what kind of pool you get.
Lotte Hotel Jeju is 350m from the beach, 500 rooms from 2000, and leans towards families with a children’s pool, kids club and bowling alley. Hidden Cliff Hotel & Nature is 1.3km from the beach with an infinity pool that faces forest, and at 250 rooms it is the smallest of the three.
Parnas is the one with the newest rooms and a pool that looks out to sea. The three are set side by side in the Jungmun resort area guide. If you have not yet settled on the south coast at all, start from Where to Stay in Jeju.
Bottom line — book it for the pool, reconsider it for the sea
The decision here starts and ends at the pool. Across 13,030 reviews it is the most cited reason for booking, and the 2022 opening means the rooms are the newest in Jungmun.
If getting into the sea is the point of the trip, take the 770m at face value; and if breakfast is a daily plan, compare the rate structures before you commit.
FAQ
If I want an ocean view, which wing should I book?
Reviews suggest the east wing over the west for sea views, while also noting that the Deluxe Family Twin sits in the older east wing, which caused confusion at booking. The same reviews say the interiors were well renovated even where the exterior looks dated. Read the room type name carefully on the booking screen.
Can four people share one room?
The Ocean View Duplex Suite, Prestige Ocean View Suite, Presidential Ocean View Suite and Club Prestige Suite are all listed with club access for four. There is also a 46 sqm Deluxe Family Twin and a Junior Suite Family Twin. Only children 36 months and under stay free; from 37 months to 12 a child is billed at the child rate, 60,500 KRW as an extra guest in Club rooms, so check other room types on the booking screen.
Is it better to add breakfast to the rate?
Breakfast is a buffet, and when it is not included in the rate it is listed at 70,000 KRW per adult and 35,000 KRW per child. Reviews mention both that the price stings and that the spread justifies it. Compare the breakfast-included and room-only rates side by side.

Other stays in this city
- Hidden Cliff Hotel & Nature
Set 1.3km inland from Jungmun Saekdal Beach. That is why its location score of 8.5 is the lowest of the three Jungmun hotels — and why the view from the pool is different.
- Lotte Hotel Jeju
350m from Jungmun Saekdal Beach, 500 rooms, a children's pool and a bowling alley on site. The recurring caveat in reviews is the age of the rooms.
- Benikea Hotel Jeju
One of only three hotel-type properties on the Aewol coast road, with a pool and triple rooms against a building guests repeatedly call dated.
- Tamna Stay Hotel Jeju
The closest Aewol property to the airport, where reviews split hard between the sea-facing rooms and everything else.
