Landing Resort
It fits families with older children who want separate rooms joined by a door. No pool appears in its confirmed facilities, so if swimming is the point, choose another wing.

When you want two rooms, not one apartment
Three of the four properties inside Jeju Shinhwa World share one address — 38 Sinhwayeoksa-ro 304beon-gil — with Somerset a short way along the same road at number 89. Agoda returns no nearby landmarks for any of them. Only the airport distance is available, so distance separates nothing — what each wing is attached to does.
Landing’s answer is connecting rooms.
It recurs in the reviews, specifically: an interconnecting room with a proper door between, recommended strongly for families; ideal for a family that needs two spaces so members can rest separately; and two boys each having their own bed.
This is not the same as one large apartment. For a three-bedroom unit, Somerset in the same complex is the answer. For two rooms with a door between them, this is.
Rooms, beds and who actually fits
Four room types appear in verified stay records: superior king, superior twin, deluxe family twin and a connecting room. The official Shinhwa World page describes the deluxe family twin as one queen bed plus one single — which matters, because “family twin” on its own settles nothing about a family of four. Two adults and two children fit that layout only if the children share or one takes the single, so put the exact ages into the booking screen before assuming it works.
The official page also lists 615 rooms across the wing, with Simmons premium beds and in-room smart controls for lighting and temperature. One family of two adults and two primary-school children found the room a little tight, then adds that it did not matter because they were rarely in it — a fair summary of the trade-off at this room count and price position.

Travelling with a baby
One guest requested a cot, a baby bath, a bed guard and a humidifier, and received all of them, alongside a comfortable three-night stay. Worth checking if you are travelling with an infant.
Children aged 3–12 stay free. Somerset lists 0–3, so with school-age children this wing works out better.

No pool in the confirmed facilities
This is the most important check here. The confirmed facilities are a business centre, a restaurant and a bar — no pool.
In the same complex, Shinhwa Resort has the water park and sky pool, Somerset indoor and outdoor pools, and the Marriott a pool.
One guest describes booking Landing, being upgraded to the Marriott wing, and using the pool free. So access is not impossible — but what you can use while booked into this wing is something to confirm as part of the rate.
Shinhwa Waterpark is a separate ticketed attraction with published hours: the official page lists indoor 11:00–19:00 and outdoor 11:00–18:00, with the outdoor section running to 11 October (checked 2026-08-25). Only two outdoor attractions — the wave pool and Sand Castle Spa — are listed as running in that outdoor window. Autumn and winter trips lose the outdoor half, so check dates before letting the water park decide the wing.
If swimming is the reason for the trip, Shinhwa Resort is attached to the water park directly and gives guests waterpark entry via its sky pool.
Sound insulation is raised three times
- Insulation described as not especially good
- Movement audible from the floor above
- The entrance door thin enough to hear everyone in the corridor
One guest also notes there is no table in the room, so food or tea could not be enjoyed there — in the same review that praises the height and openness of the room.
On room size, one family of two adults and two primary-school children found it a little tight, then adds that it did not matter because they were not in the room much. Factor it in if you plan to stay on site all day.
There is also no underground car park, per one review.
What the complex covers
Theme park, water park, shopping mall and a food street are all inside. Guests repeatedly describe not needing to leave the resort, with a supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops on hand. One notes an airport bus stopping on the road in front of the hotel.
The airport itself is 27.9km away, and the official directions page puts both taxi and rental car at about 40 minutes, with the taxi rank across the crossing from Gate 3 on the first floor. The nearest listed clinic is 3.9km away in a straight line.
Breakfast reviews on the low side — described as not worth the price, with long queues given how many international guests are staying. The official page names the wing’s own outlets as Landing Dining, an international buffet, and Landing Deli, a bakery.
Built in 2017 with 615 rooms. Landing Convention Center opens off the lobby, and Agoda lists 9 event halls seating up to 700, so the ground floor can be busy when something is on. The overall score is 8.6 across 14,311 reviews, the largest sample of the four wings; solo travellers rate it 8.8 and groups 9.1, and the average stay is 2 nights.
Best for
- Families needing connecting rooms
- Travelling with a baby
- Using the theme park and food street on foot
Not ideal if
- The pool or water park is the point
- You sleep lightly
What separates the four wings
| Wing | Attached to | Pool | Free child ages | Overall |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Landing Resort | Connecting rooms | Not confirmed | 3–12 | 8.6 |
| Shinhwa Resort | Water park · sky pool | Yes | Not stated | 8.7 |
| Somerset | Three bedrooms · kitchen · laundry | Yes | 0–3 | 8.7 |
| Marriott Resort | Service · shopping mall | Yes | 3–12 | 8.8 |
It is the only one of the four without a confirmed pool. What it has instead is the connecting rooms and the largest sample.
- For swimming, Shinhwa Resort
- For one large unit, Somerset
- For the highest score of the four, the Marriott at 8.8
- The four wings share one address, so what each is attached to is the entire comparison — Jeju Shinhwa World stays
Before you book
- Whether the room actually connects, and the door arrangement
- Whether pool or water park access is included — no pool is listed for this wing
- Whether your dates fall inside the water park’s outdoor season (listed to 11 October)
- The exact bed layout of a deluxe family twin — one queen plus one single per the official page
- Availability of baby equipment
- Check-in 3pm, check-out 11am — the official page states the same
- 27.9km to the airport, about 40 minutes; a car is needed to leave the complex
The verdict
This fits families whose children need their own room but not their own corridor. Connecting rooms, baby equipment and a 3–12 free-child range make the case; no confirmed pool and three separate insulation complaints are the cost. If swimming is the point, choose Shinhwa Resort in the same complex.
This is researched from Agoda property data and the published portion of 14,311 guest reviews rather than written from a stay. Figures are as of 2026-08-18 and no rates are quoted.
FAQ
Can I use a pool?
No pool appears in the confirmed facility list. One guest upgraded to the Marriott wing and used a pool free, so access to complex facilities is something to confirm separately when booking.
Are there connecting rooms?
Yes — connecting rooms are among the verified types, and several guests describe the interconnecting door working well for families.
Do children stay free?
Ages 3–12 are listed as free. Somerset in the same complex lists 0–3, so the totals shift with your children's ages.
